what is state of the nation?
darklight festival's artistic director, nicky gogan, will hand pick a collection of films that she thinks reflects ireland's current social climate as well as the state of independent irish film-making today. in an interactive session that will include input from fellow producer and director, paul rowley, as well as a live video link up with irish guerrilla musician (and director of the entry nun's fight club), declan de barra, nicky will lead us through her perspective on irish cinema.
