lowland fell
written and directed by michael kinirons

drama
run time: 20 minutes

set against the mysterious, elemental landscape of a midlands bog, lowland fell is a lush, erotically charged teenage drama that follows the exploits of three teenagers who uncover a bog body on a late summer’s day. it is an attempt to lyrically capture the sometimes uncontrollable emotions and desires that lie buried at the heart of the teenage experience, constantly threatening to spill forth. the film explores the turbulent waters of teenage sexuality in an attempt to capture that sweet yet tumultuous mixture of adult drives and childlike inexperience that is young lust, the purity and profanity that is the essence of that time of life.
