treadaí an chnoic is the story of a dying breed of men intent on ensuring the longevity of the sheepdog in the hills of the donegal gaeltacht. this is a class of men for whom irish is their first language ergo the first language of their canine charges. at the centre of our story is manus mac phaidín from glentornan who is seen by many as the sheepdog guru.
